We Players- The Keeper
Websters Woods Sculpture Park | Sept 5-7th Showtimes varies
Join We Players, a site-specific theatre company from the San Francisco Bay Area, to Webster's Woods for a weekend run of The Keeper. The Keeper tells the story of a woman who joyfully chooses a solitary existence with a singular purpose - to keep the light. Inspired by many true stories of female lighthouse keepers, this one woman tour-de-force performance explores the comfort we can find in custom and the softness and ease in seclusion. Joy and absurdity abound in this transformative tale about the power of practice and patience. As we follow Caretta through her days caring for the light and its house, witnessing and learning the rules of this absurd place, we discover that the only remedy for seeping existential doubt is a magical solution. Opening Reception- Lighten Up
Friday Sept 19th 2025 | 5:00- 7:00 PM | Port Angeles Fine Arts Center
Visit Port Angeles Fine Arts Center for the opening reception of our latest exhibit. Lighten Up is a celebration of color and humor in its most vibrant form. This exhibition transforms the gallery into a playful wonderland of neon- where humor meets design, nostalgia meets invention, and every glowing line invites a new perspective into the world of neon. Blurring the lines between fine art, pop culture, and urban signage, this exhibition positions neon not just as a nostalgic medium of the past, but as a dynamic, living force in today's visual culture.

This fall, Shakespeare fan Anna Andersen comes to Peninsula College to direct her own adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays: Macbeth, or as theatrical enthusiasts call it: “The Scottish Play.” Legend has it that if you say the word “Macbeth” while standing in a theater, you might just get bad luck. Auditions are open to everyone. Dr. Lara Starcevich and Anna Andersen co-teach Peninsula College's fall drama class (Fridays 1:00–3:00 pm) and students enrolled are directly involved in the production.
