Take A Self- Guided Tour
From poetry walks on local trails to scavenger hunts and strolls through a sculpture park, there are a variety of ways to connect with public art and literature. A poetry walk is available in the summer months on the trails behind the Olympic National Park Visitor Center and in Webster's Wood Sculpture Park where you will find an annual rotation of poems from local and regional authors. A scavenger hunt and art related geocaches are additionally available by visiting the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center.
Arts Activity Kits and Music Gear
Both NOLS library and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center offer arts related check-out kits and gear available for all ages. Stop into the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center to grab their nature journaling kit and then take a stroll in Webster's Woods to add to the community inspired water color nature journal or visit the Port Angeles Library to check out musical instruments and teen maker kits. All kits and gear are free and available for pick-up during open hours.
Rainworks Public Project
Our partners from Olympic National Park are excited to have the community explore the area surrounding the park visitor center through an interactive rain walk. We look forward to rolling this out in 2024. Check back soon for details.
